Dr Phil Runham
Senior Environmental Scientist
Phil has worked on a variety of projects for industrial, mining, and waste recovery projects. Phil brings to 360 Environmental a proven track record over ten years. Phil’s primary role at 360 Environmental will be approvals for resources proposals. His experience incorporates all aspects Environmental Impact Assessment, including team leadership, survey design and implementation (incorporating current and draft EPA / EPBC Guidelines and Position Statements), field logistics and reporting to proponents and government bodies. Phil has worked in the Pilbara, Kimberly, Goldfields, southwestern and coastal areas.
He has been a Field Zoologist and subsequently a Senior Zoologist with a well-established consultancy working with major resources companies in the mining sector in Western Australia. Phil has demonstrated competency in all facets of project management relating to Environmental Impact Assessment for major resources projects across Western Australia.
Ross Cullen
Environmental Scientist
Ross has been working in the environmental field in Western Australia since 2005. He has worked on a variety of projects for industrial, mining, and waste recovery projects. Currently, his primary role is approvals assistance for infrastructure and land development proposals where he has compiled and assisted to compile a variety of documents, such as planning support documents and preliminary environmental impact assessment reports.
Mary Rose Sidgwick
Technical Writer
Mary Rose is currently undertaking a Post-Graduate Diploma in Environmental Science at the University of Western Australia, and is based in Perth as a Technical Writer with 360 Environmental, working on a broad range of services for a number of clients. Mary Rose joined 360 Environmental in July 2011 to carry out an independent research project to investigate the potential of minimising risk and environmental impacts from mine tailings by their re-use as an alternative to rock-based aggregates, both in the concrete industry and in on-site mine applications. She has gained experience working on developing and reviewing proposals, tenders and management plans, as well as writing technical articles for industry publications such as Quarry Magazine. Mary Rose has strong management, verbal communication and reporting skills and is a competent technical writer.
Tim Donohue
GIS Specialist
Tim has a Bachelor of Science in geography which he obtained with honours from the University of Western Australia. His research degree specialised in coastal and marine science and Geographical Information Systems (GIS) in which he completed a dissertation on the changing beach morphology in the lee of a near-shore reef. Tim’s role at 360 Environmental involves the creating and editing of data in ESRI’s ArcGIS software as well as creating and presenting field survey results, analysis maps and 3-dimensional models. Tim’ experience includes mentoring and training students in GIS and the creation of manuals for non-GIS scientists on how to use and implement GIS into their work. Tim’s knowledge and experience in geography and GIS enables him to create high quality maps to an industry standard. Tim’s experience has been gained while working as a GIS Scientist predominantly in the mining, construction, planning and land development industries.
Andrew Hide
Ecologist
Andrew is a senior member of the Environmental and Biological Services Team at 360 Environmental. His degree in Natural Resource Management (Honours) is supported by highly developed field skills and the ability to design and undertake scientific research. Andrew has had extensive experience with threatened fauna monitoring and conservation, along with fauna habitat assessments throughout Western Australia. He has been involved in detailed studies of many of Australia’s endangered and threatened species. His knowledge is broad-ranging and widely applicable. Andrew’s role at 360 involves the design, coordination and implementation of field surveys, for mining clients and research projects.
Sue Stain
Environmental Scientist
Sue Stain is an environmental scientist with the Soil, Water and Air Assessment team and has been involved in the environmental field since 2006. Sue has over four years consulting experience in contaminated site assessments in both Western Australia and Victoria. Sue’s expertise is in contaminated site assessments, acid sulfate soil investigations, groundwater monitoring, licence compliance, remediation programmes and risk assessments.
Josh Key
Environmental Scientist
Josh has a Bachelor of Science in Marine and Environmental Science which he attained from Murdoch University in 2008. He is currently part of Soil, Water and Air Assessment team where he has had the opportunities to work on a sway of projects from ground water monitoring programs to acid sulfate soil investigations. As field operations are just one part of 360 Environmentals’ comprehensive operations, he is also involved in soil analysis and field sampling programs. With a background in the mining industry he enjoys working in conjunction with 360’s drilling contractors and is currently closely involved with some of our mining clients.
