Launch To Celebrate Marine MoU

In April 2011, over 80 Clients, colleagues and friends attended the launch to celebrate the signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between 360 Environmental, the University of Western Australia’s Centre for Marine Futures and Wave Solutions. Western Australia’s Chief Scientist Professor Lyn Beazley spoke on the evening and welcomed the MoU. She congratulated the partners on showing initiative to deliver on excellent environmental outcomes and encouraged the linkages between industry and scientific research. The event was well attended by representatives from the University of Western Australia, the Environmental Protection Authority, the Technology and Industry Advisory Council and industry partners.
The collaborative agreement represents local consultancies teaming with research partners to improve the quality of environmental monitoring and impact assessment specifically in the marine field. The focus of the partners is to deliver high quality outcomes for our Clients using proven reliable methods while developing and incorporating innovative approaches to improve challenging and/or costly areas of environmental monitoring and impact assessment. Such improvements will lead to improved environmental knowledge, increased efficiency and a reduction in costs for our Clients, while delivering robust results. Our team has a diverse range of skills, providing a seamless ability to deliver a range of marine assessments. The capability of our team leads to a strategic, timely and transparent service that saves our Clients time and money and reduces uncertainty at local, state and federal levels.
Our theme is together we are stronger. In addition to Wave Solutions, 360 Environmental and the Centre for Marine Futures we have collaborative alliance from a range of organisations and a range of world leading subject matter experts on the team. In particular Neptune Marine for Marine Logistics and ROV operations, the King Group provides survey services and high level GIS solutions for a range of clients and delivers for our team, new methods in habitat mapping and vision libraries for monitoring programs.

The team at 360 Environmental has delivered on state-level projects and delivered over 1000 projects to Clients since 2004. Being involved in the environmental science industry over the past 15 years we see new technology and innovation emerging, and we seek to be part of the change we want to see. From 360 Environmental’s perspective, our experience in assessments and approvals at 360 Environmental is an excellent springboard for the work we will deliver under the MoU.
