Mine Closure and Rehabilitation
Mine closure is increasingly understood to be a whole of mine life activity with the level of detail and resolution increasing as a mine operation matures. Post-mining rehabilitation is a permanent legacy of a mining operation. Successful rehabilitation protects a mining company’s reputation and balance sheet.

Experience
The 360 Environmental team have completed a Conceptual Closure and Rehabilitation Strategy as part of the approval process for a major new mining project. Team members have also contributed to other site Closure Plans. We have a multi-disciplinary team of environmental specialists and project managers. We also have cooperative arrangements with non-environmental specialists such as engineers.
The 360 Environmental team has a strong background in mine and infrastructure development rehabilitation. We are able to address all aspects of rehabilitation practice from pre-disturbance to final relinquishment, including on ground works at any scale.
