Rehabilitation

The 360 Environmental team has a strong background and capability in the restoration and rehabilitation of areas disturbed from clearing specifically as a result of infrastructure development. We are able to address all aspects of rehabilitation practice from pre-disturbance to final relinquishment, including on ground works at any scale, whilst ensuring key stakeholders remain informed.

We have a multi-disciplined team of environmental specialists and project managers. We also have cooperative arrangements with non-environmental specialists who can provide specific technical skills and rehabilitation resources under the guidance of 360 Environmental if and as required.

360 Environmental provides the following rehabilitation services to enable successful rehabilitation outcomes:

• Rehabilitation Management Systems – strategies, management plans, guidelines, step-by-step procedures, knowledge retention, auditing.
• Completion Criteria – development, measurement and reporting of site specific indicators and criteria acceptable to all stakeholders.
• Stable Permanent Slopes – design and construction of permanent landscape features and re-contouring to blend with existing landscape features.
• Ecosystem Reconstruction – vegetation assessments, site specific revegetation solutions (species, abundance, project scheduling), seed management (collection, storage, use), genetic testing, weed control, access control, corridor assessments, wetland assessments, fauna habitat enhancement, flora and fauna monitoring, remedial solutions.
• Rehabilitation Research – defining key questions from a practitioner perspective, prioritising research responses, experimental design, engaging research institutions.
• Stakeholder Engagement – including local communities, Government agencies, Non Government Organisations and Traditional Owners. Two way communication to understand stakeholder preferences, to manage expectations and demonstrate environmental due diligence.

360 Environmental has facilitated outstanding rehabilitation outcomes in a variety of environments including coastal dunes, Ramsar Wetlands, A-Class Reserves and conservation estates, tropical, mediterranean and arid settings and restoration works associated with State level infrastructure projects.
